How fast has this academic year flown? We are at the half-way point already! We have been so incredibly busy helping schools ‘move and learn’, we haven’t had time to blog in the way we intended. So here you are – a blog on the run! A chance to collate some recent podcasts, articles and posts…

Blog Posts

We really love the journalistic style of Blake Richardson – here’s his case for establishing PAL as an integral part of the school day. This post includes video links to the international work of Professor Geir Kåre Resaland from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and Professor John Bartholomew from University of Texas. It also features more local research by Dr Tom Quarmby and Dr Andy Daly-Smith from Leeds Beckett University.

As well as completing his PhD, Andy has also found time to work with the BBC and Supermovers can be found here and here. Congratulations Andy – we are incredibly proud of your latest achievement!

Returning to Thorner Primary School, it was great to see their pioneering spirit recognised by the All Party Parliamentary Group in the recent report into the effectiveness of the PE & Sport Premium. Well done to all involved in a fascinating report.
